I lived here for just barely a year, the plumbing was absolutely terrible - you could flush maybe twice a day because the pressure was awful. When we first moved in we had a leaking fridge, that was fine - it was replaced in a month. We also had a broken stove/oven that took 4 months to replace. Being a triplex that each tenant pays hydro for there was 2 coin operated laundry machines down stairs, shocker the washer broke too and took over a week to fix. As we were moving out, she decided to get the roof fixed, a days notice she told all the tenants they had to find different parking and in this neighbourhood more then 2 hour parking without a ticket is nearly unimaginable. She never offered to pay for the permit passes most of the tenants ended up getting. The front porch has been falling apart since we moved in, to the point that the mailman refused to bring us our mail. For the price it's an absolutely tiny apartment with nothing to offer, I regret moving in here and I strong suggest no one else does until the landlord gets it together and fixes everything - she's a borderline slum lord.

Happy renting!

Before moving in Aug. 2015 the Landlord ensured us that the dangerous rotted railing and steps would be replaced. Was necessary to go to the city inspector and the Landboard and Tenant Board to finally have the railing and steps replaced in January 2016. The back yard was overgrown with weeds and was not cleared until the City ordered Landlord to have it cleared. We still are left with rotten wood on the porch, broken eaves trough, soffit and fascia, and the only closet in the apartment leaks with heavy rain.
We found out by calling Horizon Electricial Service that our bill is also covering common space in the basement, including the washing machine which we pay to use. In an email the landlord told us the average cost of elecrtrical is $40.00 per month, our last bill for two month period was $164.19 which is over $80.00 a month.
As in last review; plumbing is a real challenged, you cannot have a shower if washing machine is in use, twice over the winter our pipes in the kitchen froze. .Electrical in the kitchen is very weak, often blew fuses when we had our toaster oven on and the kettle.
Unfortunately we feel you cannot rely on this landlord to keep her promises. We pay rent $1125.00 per month - far too high for an apartment in a building not properly maintained.
