Do not move here. WARNING - Illegal management practices. No heat, no water, for weeks at time. Unauthorized building modifications with no building permits. Rigging rent prices to destabilize the rent-stabilized building leases. Heavy handed legal practices to drive out any tenants that complain or file complaints with the city. I lived here for almost a decade. I loved my apartment but the owner and management caused permanent trauma issues for me. Run away from this building. It's beautiful, but not worth all the issues and heartbreak you will endure.
